เครื่องเขินคือประดิษฐภัณฐ์วิธีทำให้ภาชนะไม้ไผ่สานมีความคงทน และสวยงามยิ่งขึ้นด้วยการลงรักสมุกหลายครั้งแล้วขัดให้เรียบลงรัก น้ำเกลี้ยงให้เป็นสีดำมันวาวเขียนด้วยชาดหรือปิดทองให้เป็นลวด ลายบนสีดำ

LACQUERWARE
Wooden containners made of woven bamboo can be both reinforced and beautified by repeated coatings of lacquer. After a final varnish is applied to provide a glossy black surface, designs are drawn on with cinnabar or gold leaf to enhance the splendour of this famous Thai craftwork.
